William turned 2!

This year William's birthday celebration was pretty low key.  We had so much going on with remodeling the new house and moving that is just made sense to have a small family get together instead of a big party.   I made this decision selfishly too because I was in no way wanting to take that on in the first trimester with feeling sick and tired all the time. 
I must admit though when it comes to throwing parties or  "entertaining" low key is a challenge for me.  I LOVE the creativity of putting it all together, I love making yummy food and decorating. And I really love trying to make the coolest cake I can possibly make. 
The theme was kitty cats. It is really William's favorite animal if not thing at the moment. He loves trains and cars and all of that too but there is something about cats for him.

This is the cake!  I think it turned out pretty cool.

Balloon fun with cousins.

William found a love for hotwheeels just before his birthday. He got a lot for his birthday too.  It was all he wanted to play with once he opened them.

Aunt Cathey, Uncle Tim and Mark made the party.

There is my adroable little 2 year old.  I love everyhing about this little boy of mine.  From his silly faces and wildness,

to the seriousness of his personaility that makes me think that will be one that thinks deeply and ponders the mystereies of kingdom.  I have loved every minute of the last 2 years. I cant wait to see the person that he becomes. 

We pray for you everyday my sweet William that you will grow into a man with a burning passion for the things that please the Lord.  We pray that you will be a man after His  heart. 

Mama and Daddy love you so much. 

There is nothing like a cool swimming pool on a hot Charleston day. The best part about going for a swim early in the day is the extra long nap that follows.
These 3 had a blast!

Asher is getting more and more confident in the water.

Sid discovered that it is more fun to play outside the pool than in it.
He loves to play "fetch" so we threw things and he.....well he fetched them. I didnt get any pictures of that.

Recent trip to the beach. This time with no dogs.

This looks like a sweet moment between cousins....but they were actually fighting over a sippy cup.


Sid was so funny this day. He was walking and crawling all over the beach. He loved the freedom of being so mobile.



But I have to say that I think his favorite thing to do that day was eat sand!

Asher has really conquered his fear of the water.


William has NO FEAR! Of course there is no fear when he is in the arms of his Daddy.

Kiddie Pool

This kiddie pool was a gift from Dianne at my baby shower for William. He wasn't quite ready for it last summer. So I got it out for him a few weeks ago and I have to admit he is MORE than ready for it this year. He is just a little too big for it (my sister saw it on the deck and asked if it was the dog's water bowl).
But he doesn't know that he has out grown it. He loves to play in it! He loves water in any form! He is a water bug. And it is great way to keep him put while I work outside. I am not sure how much longer he will be able to even sit in it though.





If you are wondering if your eyes are playing a trick on you.....no they are not. Those are actual scrapbook pages. It has been so long since I put a page together. I really enjoyed it.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE living 5 minutes from the beach?! Well....I DO!

We made a family trip to the beach with Nicki and the boys. There were 3 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs!

I think this is William's third time this year at the beach. He has warmed up more and more each visit. This time he was ready to walk right into the ocean. He loves water and has no fear of it either.

Asher is not really interested in the water yet. He is a little afraid...but dont tell him I told you that.

Of course I couldnt leave out my other boys.....




Asher wanted to sit on the rocks, but Game had to be there to protect him. He whined and climbed just to get near Asher.

I really hate that I didnt get a photo of all three of the kids together. But, there will be opportunities for that shot I am sure.
