Playing in the Backyard

We spend a lot of time in the backyard. Especially when I have all three boys it is just the easiest way to entertain them.

I love to watch the way these two interact. They have interesting conversations. Asher mostly needs someone to sit and listen to every word he says.William loves to hear him talk. They are a match made in heaven!

While they play and entertain each other it gives me a chance to make phone calls, do yard work and tend to my plants.

And of course while all of that is going on I must tend to these two boys as well.
They have really taken a back seat in our lives. We try to still give them the attention that they need. Daily Moses HAS to have the ball thrown for him.  This is typical image of them. Moses chases the ball nonstop for about 20 minutes. Game has interest in the ball until he notices Moses getting tired. THEN he goes after it only to get it and keep it away from Moses. What a brat!

Here are some pictures of Sid. He is hilarious when we are playing outside. First of all, he is obsessed with balls. He doesn't want  play with the kids with them though. He just likes to walk all over the yard gathering them up and throwing them on his own. I think I should follow this child around with a video camera all day. He would defiantly win us some cash.

take me out to the ball game........

It is really how sad how behind I am on posting things on here. I have about a million things I want to post right now from September and now October. But as I was going through the recent photos I realized that I missed some important ones from August.

Shea and I took Asher and William to thier first baseball game.
We saw the Charleston Riverdogs play. William had a lot of fun running up and the down the bench. Asher's favorite part of the seeing Charlie the Riverdog's mascot. We had a lot of fun.

Around this time is when William was starting to really get attached to his Dada. He really wanted little to with Mama. It was really clear at this baseball game too.

I know it made Shea so happy. He adores that boy of his.

Asher loves it when the man behind us wistled with his fingers. He gave Asher some lessons. He would put his fingers in his mouth and squeel at the same time. That works too!

That is one goofy boy. He can be so silly! But the funniest thing about it is that he keeps a straight face at the same time. That is sooooooo Shea!

There is nothing like a cool swimming pool on a hot Charleston day. The best part about going for a swim early in the day is the extra long nap that follows.
These 3 had a blast!

Asher is getting more and more confident in the water.

There is my little water bug. He is too cool for the pool.

And there is that sweet smile I love.

Sid discovered that it is more fun to play outside the pool than in it.
He loves to play "fetch" so we threw things and he.....well he fetched them. I didnt get any pictures of that.Photobucket
What a stud....

This looks like a sweet moment between cousins....but they were actually fighting over a sippy cup.
Photobucket

Sid was so funny this day. He was walking and crawling all over the beach. He loved the freedom of being so mobile.

Photobucket

But I have to say that I think his favorite thing to do that day was eat sand!

Photobucket

Asher has really conquered his fear of the water.
Photobucket

William has NO FEAR! Of course there is no fear when he is in the arms of his Daddy.

I think this is William's third time this year at the beach. He has warmed up more and more each visit. This time he was ready to walk right into the ocean. He loves water and has no fear of it either.

Asher wanted to sit on the rocks, but Game had to be there to protect him. He whined and climbed just to get near Asher.

I really hate that I didnt get a photo of all three of the kids together. But, there will be opportunities for that shot I am sure.
