Asher's 5th Birthday

Asher's birthday was a low key little get together at our house this year. We started the day off by taking all the boys to Celebration Town where they could jump off some energy.

Joel 5 Weeks Old

I missed the newborn sleepy stage to do photos of Joel using my backdrops. This one isnt great but he looks very sweet.
Joel is a sweet baby. He is so bright eyed and alert. He is a little needier than William ever was though.  I hold him most of the day.  Even if he didnt want to be held all the time I probably would anyway.  I cant help but spoil a baby.

He is a little chuck too as you can see.  He on breastmilk and formula.

Here is a little idea I had to get them both a picture together. William will participate in anything involving cars and trucks. It was fun making the heart with him.

Bye Bye Beach

With the end of summer approaching we decided to make one last beach trip.  Even though it was the beginning of September and still pretty hot during the day it was a little cool at the beach.
William as always had so much fun. He didn't want to get completely in the water though.

Shea taught William how to release the sand into the wind.
Joel was one month old. He spent his first time at the beach sleeping.

Proud Dada with his newest boy.

 Proud Mama too!

My cup runneth over.

William found a jelly fish that washed up.
He spent most of the night running!

 What a fun little boy.

Bye-Bye beach we cant wait until we see you again.
 Good night Sullivan's Island.

Wildness!!

Mymy

I cant even imagine what we would do without Mymy.  Its a scary thought!  She is such a HUGE part of our (almost) everyday life around here.  She stops by after work to see the boys as much as possible. She plays with them, helps me around the house and is here for us in every way.  She is an  amazing woman.  A woman of prayer and faith, a woman that exemplifies Christ and sets an inspiring example of love for all those that encounter her.
Before I had Joel I had preterm labor signs twice.  Each time even when I pleaded for her not to she drove 60 miles to sit in the hospital with me.
She was there when Joel was born.  She shuffled William back and forth everyday to see me.  She stayed at our house the 5 days I was in the hospital with the baby and for the 3 days I was in with pneumonia.
She has cooked for us cleaned for us, changed diapers, shopped....taken care of us in everyway especially in pray.   We love Mymy!
