This is his fierce, staring face. Though he is cute and lovable and adorable, he will stare a hole in you. When he meets a stranger he does this face or he flirts his butt off with them. It's a coin toss as to which face you will meet.



I love the intensity of this boy. He is focused and aware.


And I love his pouty little mouth. I love that when I look at him from this angle I still see a baby. My baby!

I love the amazement and wonder of this age. Everything is new to him.
I love the sense of wonder at this stage.

Yes, of course is so, so, so handsome but he can be a hand full too.

I love this one, because I love to watch him play.

Really....what is there not to love about this boy?

"can I talk now?"

One thing about Asher that no one can deny is that he LOVES to talk. He will talk your ear off! I took these pictures while I was pushing William on the swing in my back yard. Instead of playing with toys, or on the "big boy" swing set, Asher just stood right by me fiddling with a stick he found and talking and talking and talking.

I was looking at the pictures later and laughing to myself at his expressions in them because they are exactly how I think of him. Talking!

They remind of me of a something that he has been doing since he was 2 years old.
When he is around, especially if there is a conversation going on that he is not involved in or he has been ignored for just a minute he will say "can I talk now?"
It was so funny when he was younger becasue even if we were not doing anything he would come in the room or come up to us and say "can I talk now?" He is a funny kid.

The Sid Monster is ONE

Sid turned one this week. Nicki chose a monster theme party. It turned out so cute! And the monster theme is fitting! I love to throw a party and I was so happy to be able to help Nicki with everything. We got to spend a lot of time together working on the party set up and cake.
The night before the party she came over and we started the monster cakes. We were up until 3AM making the cakes. They turned out great!

The party was at James Island County Park. It was a great location. The scenery is beautiful, and the weather was nice too.

William brought balloons for his cousin Sid. Notice the smiley face one? That is sooooo Sid with bandaid all over him.

They entertained BOTH of these guys.



Asher had a great time playing in the water until.........he was kicked out for peeing!

Sid started crawling right before he turned one. Way to go Sid!

Sid is the cutest little monster I have ever seen.

After being there a little while the cake began to melt. I am glad I took some before pictures. He looked kind of scary at this point.

We had a great time! We love you so much Sid. Happy birthday. Thank you for bringing so much joy and laughter to our lives. I cant wait to see the person that you will be one day.
